Monty is an often scatterbrained, yet friendly Ninetales, often feeling like he has bad luck. He tends to be skeptical about new people, especially at his school and other social functions, but he always has something to say whenever he's around his friends, being a classmate of Albert and Jacen. He tends to make mistakes and often feels ashamed if he thinks he messed something up badly.

Monty only has five tails, as a Vulpix he only had three tails of the usual six, though he never found it to bother him too much, though he often sees himself as being unique. Often relaxed, he tends to spend his spare time drawing pictures on his laptop or playing video games, often asking his friends to play along with him. He tends to spend much of his time outside but doesn't like the bright light from the sun so he often stays in the shade. He isn't much into battling others. He often thinks about the outcome of how events will go.
